It's been a real delight working with New Public again on White Noise at Vault Festival 2019, running on the 22nd and 23rd February. It's been a journey coming back to the piece where we left it after the RADA Festival in the summer of 2018 and I feel it very much benefitted from a revisit.
Christopher Adams takes to the stage in a loose-fitting, expensive looking suit, and launches into a just about believable speech about ‘respect’, ‘community’ and ‘togetherness’. He’s good looking, charming, smiling. All standard politics, but it’s Vault Festival, so who knows? He might be serious....
Adams gives a stand out performance as the architect of chaos, charming and chaotic in equal measure... White Noise is a searingly funny, assassination of the ‘modern condition’ and contemporary communication.
