Well, it was a long hot summer and blogging seemed the last thing to do. However, the work didn't stop as I was up in Edinburgh with a beautiful show called Sh!t-Faced Showtime: Oliver with a Twist. The premise is just bloody fun: we do a musical, but one person a night is hammered. We were at Underbelly for the month and full house after full house came to see it. I played Bill Sikes and Brownlow on one track and Fagin/Pianist on the other. We also sold out at the Leicester Square Theatre... so that's officially my West End debut. And we got FOUR STARS in the Metro. A fantastic experience and my liver's still recovering.
On the other end of the spectrum, I'm now playing a German soldier in a new WW1 play by Terry Deary of Horrible Histories fame. I'm delighted to be working with Prime Theatre again and we'll be touring the show round the South West and taking it to Bolton Museum for a week too.
And yes... I do some slap dancing.
