Brilliant reviews for PUNTS

I'm having the best time performing in PUNTS at Theatre 503. We've had a great response and will be so sad when it's all over. On the other hand, I've got The Winter's Tale (again, again!) to look forward to and then working with Broken Silence Theatre on a fantastic new play, so this year's new writing is pretty exciting. They just won a Best New Writing Award at the Brighton Fringe so I feel even luckier to be working with them.

Below are select reviews for PUNTS, with mentions about my performance picked out, cos this is... you know... www.ChristopherAdams.co.uk

"Christopher Adams is just knock out as Jack."

LONDON THEATRE 1 – FIVE STARS

"Adams' moving and delightfully earnest performance."

BROADWAY WORLD – FIVE STARS

"Christopher Adams gives a restrained and well-judged performance as Jack, conveying much with posture and intonation as he negotiates the complexities of intimacy and independence."

THE STAGE – FOUR STARS

"Christopher Adams (Playing Jack) has an insane amount of skill and talent. His performance in this show is just beautiful and is definitely the stand out performance of the show!" THEATREREVIEWS.DESIGN – FIVE STARS

"Particular praise to Christopher Adams for his skilful portrayal of Jack, demonstrating the difficulties that Jack’s character has with expressing his emotions and in a calm, ‘socially acceptable’ way."

WEST END WILMA – FOUR STARS

"Christopher Adams delivers an endearingly subtle performance with great comic timing."

ENTERTAINMENT FOCUS – FOUR STARS

"Jack is played by Christopher Adams with sympathy and a refined skill. Adams commits to the role and delivers a very real character. His scenes with Julia are a delightful mix of humour and awkwardness."

LIVE THEATRE UK - FOUR STARS

"The standout among them is Christopher Adams: playing a man with mental disabilities is a tricky proposition and runs the risk of derailing into stereotypes. In Adams' hands, Jack isn't 'just' a disability, he's a character with a fully formed personality and recognisable tics."
