Working with Prime Theatre on 'Last Thursday'

Since finishing RICHARD III with The Faction, I've been working on a project with Prime Theatre in my home town of Swindon called 'Last Thursday'. It's a verbatim piece, directed by Sarah Butcher, which has been developed by talking to over 900 young people in Swindon and just asking them to talk about what's going on for them. We rehearsed for two weeks and started a two week run touring round the schools that gave us the words for the play. I've also been helping with get ins and get outs, which has really taken me back to producing theatre during my student days. It's been a great experience working with this fantastic team and wonderful to meet all the young people who shared their funny, insightful, moving, and surprising stories with us.

We may well be touring it around studio spaces next year, so keep an eye out. In the meantime, we've got one more week to go!

Freya | 'Really did teenagers justice and performed with such respect for society's youth - rarely done.'

Beth | 'I may have cried during that performance but it was one of the most enjoyable and accurate things I've ever seen.'
